ReadyPOP 3.0 Description

ReadyPOP 3.0 proves itself to be a beneficial as well as interesting .Net component for retrieving messages from a POP3 e-mail server.

Includes all the features necessary to develop e-mail capabilities into your applications, including the ability to access headers by name, get both HTML and plain text bodies, check for and save file attachments and more.

Major Features:
  1. ReadyPOP is a .Net library for retrieving email messages from a POP3 mailserver, checking mailbox status and parsing retrieved messages from Visual Basic .Net, C# .Net, ASP .Net and other programming and scripting languages that support the .Net framework.
  2. Easy to use - No need to understand the POP3 protocol.
  3. Access UIDL (unique message ID), message Date (automatically converted to local time zone), From address, To address, CC address, Subject, Plain Text Body, HTML Body all by name.
  4. Easily return a list of file attachments without having to first save them.
  5. Easily save all file attachments to the directory of your choice.
  6. SSL Support for connecting to POP3 over SSL. This allows you to connect to services such as Gmail.
  7. Fully supports MIME, Base64 and Quoted Printable.
  8. Complete working sample application that clearly demonstrates how to use the ReadyPOP .Net component.
  • Operating System:
    • All Windows operating systems that support the .Net framework. 
  • Software:
    • The Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 or higher must be installed on the machine that will be using the ReadyPOP component. 
  • Installation:
    • The ReadyPOP component is installed by simlpy placing it in the bin directory of your application and adding a reference to it within your code.
